Micke is a public speaker, author and former teacher. Growing up on the outskirts of a small town in Lapland (Tärnaby), he completely opted out of downhill skiing and mountain hiking and instead entered a teaching career, where he worked for 30 years.

In 2010, he got ”a small idea” that completely turned everything upside down: Everything, including his messy class, his own life - and eventually also how 100,000 educators around the world conduct their teaching today.

Micke's newfound idea, the micro-lesson concept, was named GREJ OF THE DAY – GOTD (”grej” is swedish for ”one thing”) and since 2015 the concept has spread like wildfire both within Sweden's borders and abroad.

Today, Micke works as an international lecturer and keynote speaker, in the business world and education. He has also written more than ten books,  published in five different countries and is now stationed with his family just outside the city of Uppsala (Sweden) – close to Arlanda.
