21st Century Skills & Methods Lab

"The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write but those who cannot learn, unlearn and relearn."  – Alvin Toffler

The world is more complex, uncertain and rapidly changing than ever before. How do we as educators empower our students to be resilient, confident, continuous learners? In other words, how do we equip them with those 21st century skills – like creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, empathy – that will help them thrive in the future. Moreover (and perhaps most importantly), how do we facilitate ourselves to always be learning, exploring the new and evolving in change?

This workshop track will inspire and equip you to boldly experiment with new skills, tools, technology and teaching approaches for a changing world in the 21st century. Designed as a ‘creative lab’ it will be highly focused on doing, making and collaboration. It’ll be playful, exploratory, and fun.
